We had several girls unable to attend to our first week. We hope that those who were feeling sick are getting better, and those who were with family had an enjoyable time. So for everyone's benefit I am giving you a quick rundown of what we did at our first Week's meeting.
Everyone was shown Melissa's portfolio and how it will go together. We will be working together on this so that it isn't overwhelming.
Each girl was given a black canvas bag that we will be decorating. They were also given their cookbook papers for their binders and a sewing assignment folder. See the individual blogs for specific assignments.
We will be putting the girl's into 2 groups for our meetings. Group A will go to cooking first and Group B will come to the Sewing lesson then we will switch the groups. In these groups ingredient assignments will be made and hopefully you ladies will keep these together with your bags so that you will not forget. As soon as we have the groups made we will post them here on the blog for your reference. We will not be having sewing lab until we need to cut out our projects, so June 23rd will start the labs at the Monsen's home.
See you next week!
